Our Pastor- Rev. Carey Morford

Carey Morford is the founding pastor of Mission of the Dirt Road. She is married to Isaac and has three children.

Isaac and Carey both grew up in Keystone Heights and have a deep love for the Keystone Heights community. They have been married more than 20 years and love living the adventure of ministry and life together. They make a great team!

Carey earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Religion/Christian ministries from Southern Wesleyan University and is ordained in the Wesleyan Church.  She is currently taking classes to earn her M.Div from Wesley Seminary at Indiana Wesleyan. Before founding Mission of the Dirt Road, she was the founding director of The Growing Place: A Child Enrichment Center and ministry of Alive Wesleyan Church in Central, SC. She has also taught in public and private schools, and was the children’s pastor at Community Church of Keystone Heights for a few years.

Carey often has a non-fiction book tucked away somewhere, and she loves to learn and discuss new ideas and information. She’s almost always developing some kind of plan or solving some problem in her head; but she is also an artist at heart. She loves painting with watercolors, watching movies, reading, a cup of coffee/tea in a cute mug, and hanging out with her family.
